授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This seminar covers major issues in international and comparative legal studies. Each term a specific theme is covered and we examine the state of the law in that area and what the major issues or debates are in recent academic literature concerning it. Past themes have included law and pandemics, entertainment and sports law, medical law, international art law and others. The topics covered are generally either international in character, inviting a discussion of public or private international law, or have a comparative element that invites the examination of domestic law in different jurisdictions. |

Students must attain passing grades (60% or higher) in both Participation and questions and in their presentation to pass the overall course. |
