The topic for the seminar this term is "Public international law". Public international law is the area of law that binds the states of the world and defines much of the international order. It operates in a very wide range of fields, from human rights law to environmental law to trade and investment law.

Objectives of the Course
There are three objectives to this course.

The first is to provide students with an understanding of the basic framework of public international law. What are its sources, how is it created, what areas does it operate in and what mechanisms exist to enforce it?

The second is to provide students with an understanding of selected practical and theoretical issues related to the field.

The third is to allow students to conduct in depth research on an issue in public international law and share their results with their peers.

・授業に関する受講学生間の意見交換は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。
