The aim of this course is to help students develop a critical understanding of negotiation processes.

Course Content / Plan
Sessions will be of three types:

- DIscussion sessions: Discussion based on materials distributed in advance, led by members assigned as rapporteurs.

- Reaction sessions: In-class viewing of sample negotiations from drama or real-world politics followed by discussion.

- Exercise sessions: Negotiation of a problem prepared in advance by members of the class.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
This is a Pass/Fail course in principle. A grade will be assessed where required (as for students on the NUPACE, Campus ASEAN or Campus Asia programs). Evaluation will be based on class participation and submission of a mandatory final report.

Additional materials will be distributed via CMS from time to time. Students are expected to prepare readings before class. Session rapporteurs are expected to come prepared to lead a discussion on their assigned materials.

Zoom will be used for online sessions.
遠隔授業はNUCTで行う。教員への質問方法、学生同士の意見交換の方法は次のとおりとする。なお、教員より別の指示がある場合は、その指示に従うこと。
・教員への質問は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。
・授業に関する受講学生間の意見交換は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。
(※担当教員が「フォーラム」機能を追加設定した場合は「フォーラム」も利用可。)
Remote classes are conducted via NUCT. Questions to instructors should be asked using the NUCT "Message" function.
