Goals of the Course
The aim of this seminar is to introduce you to History of Social Thought. Paper presentation and discussions by students are the main part of the seminar. Students read basic documents of the field, including the general history of Social Thought, in which the field finds its most important theoretical basis. The seminar deals with also various social issues related to HST, such as social inequality, gender & sexuality, environmental problems, and risk society.

Notice for Students
It should be noted that main language of this seminar is Japanese. All the international students who wish to improve their academic Japanese language ability are welcome.
授業開講形態等
Lecture format, etc.
If the educational activity level is 1 or lower, face-to-face lessons will be held in principle. However, for students who do not wish to take face-to-face lessons, "face-to-face / ICT-based remote classes (two-way or simultaneous on-demand)"will be conducted by NUCT etc. When conducting an on-demand lesson, students should use the NUCT feature "Messages" to ask teachers questions and exchange opinions about lessons with other students.
