　ウニを材料として、動物の受精・胚発生様式を、顕微鏡観察を通して修得することを第１の目的とする。実際に生きた状態で受精や発生の様子を観察することの意義は大きい。
　磯採集では、生物の多様性、生態、分類に関する知識を修得することを目的とする。
　ミニプロジェクトでは、各自で実験計画を立案して、実験を行い、その成果を発表するトレーニングを行う。これらの実習を通して、海洋生物学に関する基本的知識と研究方法を修得する。
The first purpose is to learn the fertilization / embryogenesis pattern of animals through microscopic observation using sea urchin as a material. It is of great significance to observe the state of fertilization and development in the actual living state.
The purpose of collecting shore creatures is to acquire knowledge about biodiversity, ecology, and classification.
In the mini-project, each person makes an experiment plan, conducts experiments, and presents the results. Through these practical trainings, you will acquire basic knowledge and research methods related to marine biology.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

　本実習は、春季の大潮の時期を含む月曜から金曜まで、１週間の日程で行われる。
　内容に関しては以下の通りである
（１）ウニの受精発生観察。
（２）磯採集：生物多様性，分類、生態に関する調査研究。
（３）海産動物を用いて各自でミニプロジェクト研究を立案し実験を行う。　
海産無脊椎動物ウニを材料とし、精子と卵の形態や受精様式を観察する。特に、卵と極体、精子の形態。精子先体反応、卵ゼリーの観察。受精膜形成、多精拒否機構、卵割、桑実胚、胞胚、原腸胚、プリズム幼生、プルテウス幼生、などを観察する。磯採集では、大潮の昼に菅島の磯場にでかけ、そこに棲息する海洋動物を調査し、生態分類に関して理解を深める。
