授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)

生態学を体系的に理解することができるようになるために、生態系に関する基礎知識を習得するとともに、地球環境と生態系の相互作用に関する理解を深め、動物の個体群レベルのプロセスや個体の行動の基礎を学ぶことを目的とする。前半は、生態系の構造や構成要素、物質やエネルギーのフロー、地質学的時間における地球環境と生態系の進化について学ぶ。後半では、生物の生態や行動を、至近メカニズム、機能、発達、系統進化の面から解説する。

In order to be able to systematically understand ecology, we will acquire basic knowledge about ecosystems, deepen our understanding of the interaction between the global environment and ecosystems, and develop animal population-level processes and individuals. In the first half, we will learn about the structure and components of ecosystems, the flow of materials and energy, and the evolution of the global environment and ecosystems in geological time scale. In the second half, we will explain the ecology and behavior of living organisms in terms of proximity mechanism, function, development, and lineage evolution.

生態系という概念を理解し、生命の起源と初期進化そして地球史的イベントを通じて生物と環境の相互作用に関する知識を身につける。また、自然環境の様々な情報を用いて意志決定を行う、動物の意志決定メカニズムについて学び、動物行動の適応進化についての理解を深める。
