授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
美とは, 新たな技術とその産物がもたらす新たな価値観と, 既存の自然や社会との新たな調和をもたらすものや活動のことである。その新たな美を社会に知らしめるのが美学のひとつの役割である。情報美学とは，その情報技術版である。情報技術ならびにその産物は，現在の自然や社会にどのような新しい価値観を突きつけ，そこでわたしたちにどう生きることを求めてくるのか，またその新たな価値観を, 自然や社会のなかにどう位置づけ調和をはかるのか。過去に美と呼ばれた事例を基に学びながら，受講者とともに議論する。

Goals of the Course
Beauty is the things and activities that bring new technologies and new values ​​brought about by their products, and new harmony with existing nature and society. One of the roles of aesthetics is to inform society of the new beauty. What new values ​​do information technology and its products impose on the present nature and society, how do we want us to live there, and how do we put those new values ​​into nature and society? Is it positioned and harmonized? Discuss with the students while learning based on the cases called beauty in the past.

受講生は, 技術とその産物がもたらした新たな価値観を自然や社会と調和させた過去の例を学びながら, 現在の情報技術とその産物がもたらす新たな価値観が自然や社会とどのように調和させられるのかを構想する。

Objectives of the Course
Students learn past examples of harmonizing the new values ​​of technology and its products with nature and society. Through this, students envision how current information technology and the new values ​​it brings will be in harmony with nature and society.

講義では，情報技術ならびにその産物が，現在の自然や社会にどのような新しい価値観を突きつけ，そこでわたしたちにどう生きることを求めてくるのか，またそれを自然や社会のなかにどう位置づけ調和をはかるのか，過去に美と呼ばれた事例を基に学びながら，受講者とともに議論する。

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
講義中に与える演習課題の評価50％，期末試験50％，合計100点満点で60点以上を合格とする。履修を取下げる場合は, 必ず期日までに履修取り下げの届けを提出すること。

次の参考書を使用する。秋庭史典（2011）『あたらしい美学をつくる』みすず書房（ただし現在品切れなので, 購入する必要はない。）
