[Important Notice for Enrollment] Students who wish to attend this seminar are strongly recommended to enroll it using the link at the bottom of this page!
[Course Outline]
This course will offer an introduction to theory and practice of International Human Rights Law. Special attention will be paid to the international mechanism established by the International Conventions such as International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The course will consist of (a) lecture by the instructor and (b) presentations by the participants. If more than five students participate in the Course, the Model United Nations style of presentation will be introduced to practice the dialogue between the State Parties and the Committees established to monitor the implementation of the Convention.

It aims to provide the participants with the understanding of the basic principles and rules of International Human Rights Law and of the role of international organizations, the United Nations in particular.

遠隔授業はNUCTで行う。教員への質問方法、学生同士の意見交換の方法は次のとおりとする。なお、教員より別の指示がある場合は、その指示に従うこと。

・授業に関する受講学生間の意見交換は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。
(※担当教員が「フォーラム」機能を追加設定した場合は「フォーラム」も利用可。)
Remote classes are conducted via NUCT. Questions to instructors should be asked using the NUCT "Message" function.
