授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This seminar intends to present the students with the major legal issues in the field of international commercial law, with a specific focus on international commercial contracts. Transactions across borders pose a series of unique problems that require a knowledge of legal mechanisms going beyond the national legal system. Starting from the very definition of what a "contract" is, this seminar will present and discuss issues such as the applicable law; jurisdiction; international conventions on contracts; soft law instruments of harmonization. |
