本演習は，情報哲学・情報社会設計論・グローバルメディア論のそれぞれの分野について，研究の実施や各種フィールド調査に必要な技術の習得，ならびに研究成果を論文や学会発表として公表するための実践的能力を習得することを目的とする。

The aim of this course is to help students acquire the following:
(1) Skills for research and field studies in philosophy of information, design of information society, and global media studies
(2) Practical ability to publish research results as academic papers and presentations

受講生は，専門的文献を，その問題設定・論証・結論から捉え，その推論の正しさ（正しくなさ）を理解・指摘できる能力を，専門分野の基本的文献を素材としながら涵養する。

Objectives of the Course
Students develop the ability to grasp the specialized literature from its problem setting, argumentation, and conclusion, and to understand and point out the correctness (incorrectness) of the reasoning, using the basic literature of the specialized field as a material.

社会情報学演習aでは，あらゆる研究の基礎となる文献読解能力の涵養に重点を置く。
すなわち専門的文献を，その問題設定・論証・結論から捉え，その推論の正しさ（正しくなさ）を理解・指摘できる能力を，専門分野の基本的文献を素材としながら涵養する。

資料作成課題の評価５０％，期末試験５０％，合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。
