本演習は，情報哲学・情報社会設計論・グローバルメディア論のそれぞれの分野について，研究の実施や各種フィールド調査に必要な技術の習得，ならびに研究成果を論文や学会発表として公表するための実践的能力を習得することを目的とする。

The aim of this course is to help students acquire the following:
(1) Skills for research and fieldstudies in philosophy of information, design of information society, and global media studies
(2) Practical ability to publish research results as academic papers and presentations

受講生は，専門分野における外国語運用能力の涵養に重点を置く。一般的な外国語ではなく，当該分野の研究成果である諸概念や思考方法を表す独特の外国語を理解し，自分でも用いることができるようになる。

Objectives of the Course
Students focus on developing foreign language proficiency in their field of specialization. Students are requested to be able to understand and use a unique foreign language that expresses various concepts and ways of thinking that are the results of research in the field, rather than a general foreign language.
授業の内容や構成

社会情報学演習cでは，専門分野における外国語運用能力の涵養に重点を置く。
一般的な外国語ではなく，当該分野の研究成果である諸概念や思考方法を表す独特の外国語を理解し，自分でも用いることに重点を置いた演習を行う。

1. 各分野の定評ある国際的ジャーナルとは
2. 専門分野の外国語理解に有用なデータベースとその活用法
3. 関連分野の外国語理解に有用なデータベースとその活用法
4. 各種論文執筆マニュアル（APA他）
5. 各分野の外国語文献を批判的に読むために必要な，各分野の論文作法の知識
6. 各種翻訳ツールの効果的使用
7. 相互チェックによる効率的習得
8. 要約の作成

3. Useful databases for related research fields
4. Publication manuals

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
資料作成課題の評価５０％，期末試験５０％，合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。

各分野の定評あるジャーナルに掲載された外国語論文を配布する。
Papers from international journals related to each research field are assigned during the class.
