１、すでに取得している生物学の基礎的な知識をもとに、さらに専門分野についての理解を深める。
２、講義中、および講義後の、教員と議論を通して、より深い思考力を涵養する。

1. In this course, students will be expected to obtain deeper understanding on animal cell biology based on the knowledge that has been acquired in undergraduate years.
2. The ability to think logically and clearly will be cultivated through discussions with teaching staffs and colleagues.

特論4と合わせての授業終了時には以下の知識と能力を身につけることを目標とする。
1. 自分の専門分や以外の幅広い知識を身につけ、学会のシンポジウムや大学院集中講義も容易に理解できる様になる。
2. 質問をすることを常に意識することで、時に批評的な態度で講義を聴くこともできるようになる。
3. 単なる座学ではなく、講義で聞いたことを自身の研究を遂行したり、考察することにに生かすことができるようになる。

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

細胞生物学研究の遂行は、生化学、生物物理学、分子生物学、動物組織学、病理学など様々な学問分野にまたがる知識や手法を駆使して初めて可能になる。そのため、これらの分野の特に生命科学研究に関わる項目を取り上げて講義する。学部4年生や修士課程大学院生が基礎生命科学を理解するよい機会となると同時に、より高度な研究への重要な礎となる。また、受講生からの積極的な発言を講義中に逐次促すことで、より理解が深めるように留意して講義を進める。

To carry out cell biological research, one needs to have knowledge and techniques that are related to biochemistry, biophysiology, molecular biology, animal histology and pathology. These subjects are treated in lectures with special emphasis on their relations to biological science.
