Goals of the Course(JPN)

今人類は未曾有の感染症の脅威にさらされている。本危機はPCRによってウイルスの存在を可視化出来る状況になってから初めての感染症のパンデミックであり、今後この危機を通じて免疫と感染症の理解が膨らむであろう。本講義ではこの様な時代を意識し、ワクチンの登場から最近の抗体医薬、次世代ワクチン研究とCOVID１９に焦点を当てて、免疫を利用して発展した医学について解説する。

Goals of the Course

We are now exposed to the threat caused by a new type of virus termed SARS-CoV-2. Human beings have never been exposed to this virus. This crisis may be the first case as world-wide pandemic of new type virus after the virus could be visualized by PCR. Through this crisis, correlation between the immunity and infectious diseases will be more revealed in the future. With an awareness of current era, this class will focus on recent antibody drugs, next-generation vaccine research and COVID 19 and try to discuss regarding medical science which has developed by utilizing immunology.

2021年は人類が新型コロナという未知なるウイルスの世界的パンデミックにさらされた年であり、免疫学にとっても一部の常識が塗り替えられる年になるであろう。そこで本クラスの受講者は最終的に免疫学における発展の歴史と現在の医療で応用されている技術の基礎知識を身に着けて、現在から過去に至るあらゆる免疫現象を対象とし、一つで良いので独自の問題提起とその調査を行える能力を獲得する事を到達目標とする。
