授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

本授業では、研究室メンバーが毎週担当して1時間程度の発表とそれに伴う1時間程度の議論を通じて最先端の研究を批判的に評価する視野を養う。毎回の討論には、修士論文のための研究活動が毎週8時間以上の取り組みが必須である。
具体的な内容としては、当該科目を履修する２年生は研究室の主なテーマである「蛋白質の折り畳み」、「小分子の蛋白質への結合」、「生体系の光反応」、「光合成における電子・エネルギー移動」の基礎理論を学び、自らの研究成果を交えてメンバーに発表する。また、それ以外の回では討論を通じて理論生物物理学の研究の出発点や研究の仕方を実地で学ぶ。最終的には修士論文とりまとめへと導く。
Each student will take turns in presenting an hour talk about the latest research results on protein folding, docking of ligands to proteins, photo reactions of
biomolecules, electron and energy transfer in photosynthesis, etc. Another hour of discussion will follow. For each session, the students are requested to work more
than 8 hours per week for preparation. Will lead the students to write Master theses.
