ショウジョウバエの脳構造や、それぞれの脳領野の機能が解明されてきた過程を解説し、現在の知見に至るまでの経緯を分析、検討する。これにより、神経科学を進める上で必要な様々な方法論を理解し，研究企画力を養成する。

Learn the basic knowledge on the anatomy of the fly brain and state-of-the-art methodologies to explore the fly brain. Through this course, students should aim to: be able to plan research strategies by themselves.
