その分子基盤の理解を深めるとともに、疾患を含めた様々な現象の遺伝的制御機構につい
て学ぶ。受講者は科学論文の内容をプレゼンテーションすることで、研究プレゼンテーシ

授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This course deals with the molecular mechanisms of vertebrate development, epigenetic gene regulation, and epigenomics. The participants will acquire the methods of scientific presentation and discussion, as all will present keystone and/or cutting edge papers in the field. |

Genetic regulation of ontogenesis.
Epigenetic regulation of gene expression.
Presentations:
All participants select a paper in the list provided, all of which are related to genomics, epigenomics, and development, for their presentation in the class. |

履修条件・関連する科目 Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | Participants are assumed to have basic knowledge of developmental biology and molecular genetics at the level of undergraduate classes. Ones who do not have are strongly suggested to read textbooks, such as "Molecular Biology of the Cell" by Alberts et al. and "Genetics" by Hartwell. |
