授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course | | Aiming at implementation of well-being in Asia, the objective of this course is to develop basic competence of women leaders enabling them to play an active role in a modern global society.
As the program involves four graduate schools and five departments, this course, targeting mainly M1 students, has a joint introductory role. The final goal is to identify issues related to establishment of multicultural societies in Asian countries, and to develop teamwork capacity through group works. This course is in cooperation with Overseas Training Program Seminar 1. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 受講生は、専門や国籍が多様になるように配慮したグループを構成し、実態調査を実施する。期間は1月から2月の１週間程度を目安とする。
これらを通し、女性の役割やウェルビーイングについて保健、農業、医療、国際開発、教育の分野から多角的に理解することを目指す。
なお、研修地ならびに内容は常に実施上の問題点を整理し、必要に応じて改善、変更をする。
Students will be organized into groups, with respect to diversity in nationalities and fields of study, to carry out surveys and determine relevant facts. Tentative schedule for fieldwork is one week between from January and February. Using their cumulative knowledge, students should think about the role of women and well-being from various perspectives, including health care, medicine, agriculture, international development and education. Where necessary, fieldwork locations and contents can be changed or adjusted to address different practical issues. Details of the course will be given later. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 毎回の授業における討論への取り組み（50%）およびレポート試験（50%）により評価する。
授業内容を正しく理解し、課題に対して適切に論じられることを合格の基準とする。
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
class attendance and attitude in class (50%), short reports (50%), and a fraction of in-class contribution. |
