Goals of the Course | | | This seminar is designed to allow MA and PhD students to present and discuss their ongoing research and address analytical and methodological issues that they face. |

Objectives of the Course | | | Applying the concept of peer review, the objective is to have each participant to give a research progress report at least once a semester and to receive feedback and constructive criticism for classmates and the instructor. |

Course Content / Plan | | | The schedule for each semester will be based on the number of participants. At least five sessions each semester will be set aside to discuss methodologies, analytical and instrumental frameworks, and critiques and literature reviews. The remaining sessions will be given over to individual research progress presentations. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | Students will be evaluated based on their research presentations and active engagement in the peer review process. Credit will be given if students achieve a minimum of C- for all evaluated criteria. |
