授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This Overseas Fieldwork (OFW) course aims to provide students an opportunity to gain experience conducting a virtual research project about a developing country and group work with people who have different backgrounds. In 2021, students will conduct virtual fieldwork in a developing country in Asia. Students will be able to gain virtual fieldwork skills and enhance their communication skills and problem-solving skills based on group work. |

授業の内容や構成 Course Content / Plan | | Students will conduct research about a developing country from Asia. A detailed schedule will be announced at the Preparatory Seminar for GSID Overseas Fieldwork. Before launching the research survey, students are required to have regular group work to develop their research plan. |

成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | Group report 40%, Group presentation 30%, Participation in group work 30%
Credit is given to C- or C (where applicable) or higher grade for each criterion.
Students have to submit the final fieldwork report by the beginning of January 2022. |

In 2021, we will conduct a virtual OFW.
