Goals of the Course | | 【Aims】This lecture is history of architecture from 19th century to 20th century in Japan and East Asia. On this lecture I would like to talk it with some view-points which are history of politics, economics, and social movement.

Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | | 授業を通して建築史という学問分野の存在意義を理解し、建築を復元し、かつ、批評するという建築史学の本質を学ぶことを通じて、新たな建築史研究の視点と手法を習得する。さらに、これらによって建築や都市を分析する能力を養い、また、具体的な事物を歴史的な視点から分析する能力を身に付け、地域が有する歴史的環境の保全再生に資する能力を身に付けることを目標とする。 |

Objectives of the Course | | | Going through this lecture you will get some talents of restoration, critics, and analysis of modern architecture in East Asia. And at last you will get the ability to contribute to the conservation and restoration of the historical environment of the region. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 対面形式を基本とし、10月5日から開始する。場所は、ES総合館4階講評室である。オンライン授業の希望があれば対応するので、オンライン授業希望者は事前に連絡のこと。授業資料は、事前にNUCTに掲載するので、各自ダウンロードのこと。授業での紙媒体の配布はおこなわない。

15)日本近代建築総覧と中国近代建築総覧－東アジアの近代建築史研究 | From Oct. 5th, we will start this lecture at the Presentation Room on the 4th floor in the ES Building. Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | 履修条件：歴史に興味関心を持ち、学部で建築史、土木史、日本史、東洋史、西洋史、政治史、法制史、経済史、教育史、医学史、地球史、などを一つでも履修していることが望ましい。 | | Course requirements: I hope you are interested in history, especially, history of architecture, civil engineering, Japan, East Asia, Western, politics, rules, economics, education, medicine, earth, and others. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 学期末に出題するレポートの成績により、総合点(100点満点)にて、60点以上をC-、65点以上をC、70点以上をB、80点以上をA、95点以上をA＋とする。レポートは、授業内容に関連した課題を出題し、課題に対する理解力、課題対象の分析力、レポート執筆の構想力を評価する。 | | Decision of evaluation will be based on your score of report, 60-64 points: C-, 65-69:C, 70-79 points: B, 80-94: A, 95-100: A+. Evaluation of homework report. Report evaluates understanding ability for lectures, analysis ability for objects, and imagination of writing report. Its guide information will be provided in the first lecture. |

Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours) | | | 授業資料を事前にNUCTにアップするので、事前に読んで予習すること。また、毎回の授業にて、関係する書籍を紹介するので、それらを参考に復習すること。 | | Before each lecture, materials will be upload on NUCT site. Then you should read the materials before each lecture. And I will introduce some books about each theme on my lecture, you will read them to study again. |
