授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 階層現象は、社会的資源の不平等な配分から生じ、人間行動を理解・説明するうえで有力な手がかりになる。他方で、現代社会では階層構造そのものが大きく変化しつつあり、これを視野に入れなくてはとめまぐるしく変化する社会問題群を解読することはできない。本科目では、階級・階層構造と社会意識、集合行為、集団・ネットワーク形成などに着目しつつ、現代社会の階層構造について検討をおこない、社会学的発想力・応用力・総合力を高める。

Goals of the Course | | The goal of this course is to learn the notions and theories of social class, group/network formation and collective action in oeder to explain complex causal relationships between social structure, social consciousness and social action (S-C-A scheme).

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 経済のグローバル化と情報化が進むなかで、階層格差の増大や労働力の非正規化、移民労働力の流入など、先進社会の階層構造は変化し、集団形成のベクトルも変わりつつある。こうした変化は、人間の行動パターンを変え、社会的コンフリクトのありかた、マクロな社会構造にも影響をおよぼす。本年度は、先進社会の都市地域の比較を通して、グローバリゼーションのなかで、地域や都市の階層構造がどのように変化し、集合行為のあり方をどのように変えつつあるかを多面的に検討する。加えて、現在進めている豊田・刈谷調査に関連したデータを用いた検討もおこなう。
参加者は、文献報告・個人研究報告もおこなう。文献の予習と、自身の報告に際しては長時間の自宅学習が必要となるため留意すること。 | | It is becoming apparant that globalization process and its associated forms of economic change tend to widen the gap between the wealthy and poor, stimulating the growth of casual labour force or immigrant labour market in larger cities especially in advanced industrialized countries. The purpose of this course is to compare global city regions in these countries and to investigate the observed change in the class/stratification structure there. |
