授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
人類の時代の意味する第四紀は、258万8000年前から現在までの期間と定義されている。本講義では、第四紀の年代測定法として代表的な放射性同位体を用いた年代測定、放射線照射年代測定、年輪・年縞に着目した年代測定、層序学的な年代測定などの原理、測定法、得られた年代の信頼性について説明する。

Goals of the Course
Quaternary spans from 2.588 ± 0.005 million years ago to the present. In this lecture, the principle, analytical method and quality assessment of the radiometric dating method, radiation dating, dendrochronology and varve chronology were explained and discussed.
