Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 繁殖や採餌や防御など、生物がとる行動の中にはさまざまな謎が隠されています。そしてその謎を解くためには、その生物の生態を進化的な観点から探ることが必要不可欠です。当講義では、こうした動物の行動の謎を解くための考え方、実験方法、そこから明らかになる興味深い事実について、教科書を精読し、教科書に紹介された過去の研究例などを参考にしながら学んでいきます。 |

授業の内容や構成

などに関する研究例を学びます。
授業では、受講生が各自、教科書の一部の説明を担当する形で進めます（教科書の購入は必要なし）。

Using the text book (originally written in English and translated into Japanese), participants give presentations explaining the subject. The original text book is "An Introduction to Behavioural Ecology, 4th Edition" by N.B. Davis, J.R. Krebs, and S. A. West.

履修条件・関連する科目
Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | 説明の担当に当たった受講生は、事前の勉強・説明の準備が必要になります。生態学の基礎がない場合も説明を担当しなければなりませんが、授業中に教員が説明を補足していくので受講可能です。ただし、生物学について全く知識がない人は、事前に基礎的な勉強をしておくことが望まれます。 | | Students who have no knowledge of biology are advised to learn some basic biology before taking this course. Students need to prepare their presentations to introduce the parts of the text book they are in charge. |
