This seminar is aimed at enabling the students to deepen their understanding of basic concepts in global governance and also of the role international regimes play in solving global issues in order to acquire the trans-disciplinary perspectives necessary to address global environmental issues.

Objectives of the Course | | 【Learning Outcomes】
At the end of the course, the students will be able to understand the basic functions of international regimes, and also to build the foundation upon which to create a new academic field concerning global environmental governance. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | | この演習では、１）国際レジームに関する基本文献の輪読、及び２）各自が設定した国際環境行政論分野の研究テーマに関する先行研究の紹介を行い、全員で議論する。また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。 | All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.
The students enrolled in this seminar are required to: 1) read the basic literature concerning international regimes, and 2) to present literature reviews on the topics of their choice, which are related to issues of global environmental governance. |

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 口頭発表に基づき、国際レジームに関する基礎的な概念や理論を正しく理解しているかどうかを評価基準とする。 | | The students will be evaluated on the basis of their understanding of basic concepts and theories concerning international regimes, based on their oral presentations. |
