Goals of the Course | | 【Aims】This seminar is aimed at enabling the students to deepen their understanding of global governance architecture in order to acquire the trans-disciplinary perspectives necessary to address global environmental issues.

Objectives of the Course | | 【Learning Outcomes】
At the end of the course, the students will be able to understand the governance process through which international organizations facilitate collaborations among national governments, private actors such as transnational corporations and civil society organizations, and regional organizations such as the EU, and thereby to acquire a political scientific perspective needed to create a new academic field concerning global environmental governance. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | | この演習では、１）グローバル・ガバナンスにおける多中心的な構造に関する基本文献の輪読、及び２）各自が設定したガバナンス・アーキテクチャに関する研究テーマについて先行研究の紹介を行い、全員で議論する。また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。 | All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.
The students enrolled in this seminar are required to: 1) read the basic literature concerning poly-centric structures in global governance, and 2) to present literature reviews on the topics of their choice, which are related to the issues of governance architecture. |

Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | | 国際環境行政論セミナーAおよびBを予め履修することが本セミナーの履修条件となる。また本セミナーの受講生には、環境政治や環境法に関する他の講義（特に国際環境行政論）やセミナーも併せて受講することを強く奨励します。 | | Global Environmental Governance Seminars A and B are prerequisites for this class. It is also highly recommended that the students take other courses in environmental politics and law as well as the lecture on global environmental governance. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 口頭発表に基づき、グローバル・ガバナンス・アーキテクチャに関する基礎的な概念や理論を正しく理解しているかどうかを評価基準とする。 | | The students will be evaluated on the basis of their understanding of basic concepts and theories concerning global governance architecture, based on their oral presentations. |
