このセミナーの目的は大学院における研究テーマの理論的知識と技術を身に着け、指導教員や他の関係教員へ日々の進展を報告することにある。DP2からDP4に相当する。

The purpose of this seminar is to master the theoretical knowledge and techniques required to carry out the graduate research project, and to report the day-to-day progress of the research to the supervisor and other lab members.[ Corresponding to DP2 and DP4]

The goal of this seminar is for the students to be able to search relevant literatures by themselves and to present their own results in the seminar logically, namely from their "purpose", "methods", "results", "discussion" and "conclusions".
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
修士論文・博士論文の指導教員から与えられる題材は理論的な概念と分析的な技法から構成されている。これらは最終的な研究プロジェクトを達成するために必要なものである。
Subjects taught by the thesis supervisor consist of specialized theoretical concepts and analytical techniques required to achieve the goals of the graduate research project.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
研究室でのレポート、論文レビュー等に基づき成績評価を行う。それぞれの研究室において指導教員から個別の必要事項が開始時に説明される。
Graded assignments may include lab reports, field survey reports and review papers. The specific assignments required by each lab will be announced at the start of the semester by the thesis supervisor.
