保健医療学分野（先端情報医療学領域と包括ケアサイエンス領域）における専門的研究課題に対し、主体的に研究計画の立案、実施、評価を行う能力を涵養し、修士論文の作成につなげることを目的とする。

Creating a master's thesis by acquiring the ability to independently develop,
implement and evaluate research plans for specialized research subjects in the health care

在宅看護学関連領域、高齢者看護において自ら選んだ研究課題に関して、データ収集、分析など、研究の実践、指導を行い、論文指導を行う。

研究計画書の作成、研究実施状況に応じて、総合的に評価する。
