授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
 本講義では、政治学における経験的および規範的政治理論の最新の動向をフォローすることのできる、英語及び日本語の文献を購読する。参加者が分担して報告し、その報告に基づいて討議を行う。適宜参加者の個人研究報告を行うこともあり得る。
 なお、本講義に参加する者は、秋学期に開講の「現代政治理論研究B」(隔週月曜3・4限)にも継続して参加すること。やむを得ず秋学期に参加できない場合は、担当教員に個別に相談すること。
授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course
This course offers an opportunity to understand current state of contemporary political theories including both normative and empirical aspects.
Participants are required to read assigned books and articles written in either English or Japanese and to make presentations on them. Research presentations of each participant might be conducted during the course.
Students attending this course are generally required to attend the Contemporary Political Theory B opened in the fall semester in period 3 and 4 on every other Monday. If students cannot attend it, please let the instructor know.

①政治理論の最新の動向を知り、批判的に摂取して、政治理論に関する専門知識を修得するとともに、各自の研究能力の向上に活かすこと。

① Getting academic understanding on the current state of political theory and taking it critically in order to develop participant's research ability.
②Cultivating the problem solving abilities with comprehensive perspective through studying the state of political theory.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
講義は、以下の内容によって構成される。

1.現代の経験的政治理論
Contemporary empirical political theories

2.現代の規範的政治理論
Contemporary normative political theories

3.政治学における政治理論の位置づけ
The role and place of political theory in political science

・「授業の目的」にも記したとおり、本講義に参加する者は、秋学期に開講の「現代政治理論研究B」にも参加すること。やむを得ず秋学期に参加できない場合は、担当教員に個別に相談すること。
・政治学の専門的な英語文献・日本語文献をそれなりのペースで読み進めるため、報告の作成、事前の予習、当日の討論への参加など、積極的な参加姿勢が求められる。

Notice for Students
 4月上旬に開催される「政治科研オリエンテーション」において、本年度の予定の詳細を説明するので、政治学系の院生は、このオリエンテーションに参加すること。
 政治学系以外で本講義への参加を希望する院生は、初回授業で、扱うテキストや今後の報告日程等についての打ち合わせを行うので、参加すること。その際、事前に電子メール等で授業担当者まで連絡をとること。
  The short introduction of the course will be conducted at the first class on April. If students whose research fields are not political science hope to attend this course, please contact the instructor before the first class.

遠隔授業はNUCTで行う。教員への質問方法、学生同士の意見交換の方法は次のとおりとする。なお、教員より別の指示がある場合は、その指示に従うこと。

・授業に関する受講学生間の意見交換は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。
