Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

文学作品を通して、作品の背景となる現代の社会問題について考え、議論します。
個人発表では意見を述べる力を、ディスカッションでは対話的に議論する力を養うことを目標とする。

Through literary works, students will think about and discuss contemporary social issues that form the background of the works.
The goal is to cultivate the ability to express opinions in individual presentations and to develop the ability to discuss interactively in discussions.

Message from the Instructor
小説には、時代が映り込みます。作家の意図について考察するだけでなく、それを超えて、同時代の社会について考えていきましょう。素材として、「恋愛」ではなく「変愛」を描いた短篇小説を取り上げます。それぞれの作品が、ジェンダーやセクシュアリティの規範から、どのようにずれているかを考えつつ、規範そのものについても考察したいと思います。積極的な参加を望みます。
