Goals of the Course [JPN]

少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]

This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

「人類が脳・神経系をどのように理解しようとしてきたのか」、古典〜現代の様々な脳・神経系を解剖学的・生理学的に研究する方法について受講生で分担して調査・発表してもらうことで、学術的知識探求のプロセスとその面白さをさぐる力を養う。

The objectives of this course are to experience the process of understanding and presenting academic knowledge by studying how we have attempted to anatomically or functionally understand our brain.

Message from the Instructor

少人数制セミナーの利点である，相互に顔のみえる状況で学術的情報の読み取り方を体験するセミナーに使用と思っています。扱うことは「脳と神経系」に関することというテーマとしての縛りを設けていますが，脳神経系の研究は実は「技術的総力戦」です。そのため，化学・電子機器・光学機器・統計学，などなど，いろんなことが関わってきます。それらの「原理」についても出来る範囲で触れながら，生物学的知見を「味わう」セミナーを目指します。　そんな世界を一緒に楽しみましょう。
