Goals of the Course [JPN]
この授業では、Scribes and Scholars: A Guide to the Transmission of Greek and Latin Literatureの読解を通して、書物の継承に必要なこととはなにかを学び、また我々が過去の事績を未来に残していくにはどのような取り組みが肝要かといった点を討論を通して検討していく。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
By reading Scribes and Scholars: A Guide to the Transmission of Greek and Latin Literature, we shall consider what is required to pass on written and literary works. In addition to that, we will discuss what is essential when we try to inherit and save what is left to us.

履修を通して、英語の読解と文章に書かれた内容の理解や、自身の考えをまとめて他者に伝える力、文献悉皆の方法論などが養われることを期待する。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
Students will brush up on their reading skills. In addition to that, they will be able to deepen their understanding and knowledge through the texts, demonstrate what they think, and look up certain things (in the library, books, articles, etc.) when needed.
