Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | ・国や地域の多文化間の垣根を超えて、グローバル社会を生きるのに必要な異文化間コミュニケーション力と相互理解の育成を目指す。
・欧米・アジア・東欧と日本文化それぞれの事例を見比べることによって、異文化と自文化の多様性について理解も深め、さらに文化研究の基礎概念について学ぶ。
・グループディスカッションやプレゼンテーションの準備などを通じて、情報収集能力、情報分析能力、コミュニケーション能力、プレゼンテーション能力等、基礎アカデミックスキルの習得もしくは向上をめざす。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | This class aims to
- improve your cross-cultural communicative competence, i.e. your ability to understand people from different cultures and interact with them effectively;
- deepen your understanding of the cultural side of globalization as well as of your own culture through the comparison with other cultures;
- brush up your basic academic skills, namely analytical, communicative, presentation, group work. |

Message from the Instructor | | 国際交流にご関心のある方、海外留学を検討中の方を始め、グローバルコミュニケーション力を身につけたい方の受講を特に心待ちにしている。
この授業では、日本語の他、英語の資料も取り扱うため、多少の英語読解力が望ましい。ただし、ディスカッションでは、発言しやすい言語の使用を認める。
また、この授業では、正解のない課題を数多く取り扱うため、不正解もないことになり「答えが間違っている」と言われることは一切ない。意見やストーリーをシェアーしながら、お互いに学び合いながら、新しい知識が身に着くのを皆さんに楽しめてもらうことを目標とする。 |
