Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

大学での基本的な発表と討論の技能を習得すると共に、科学リテラシーを涵養し、ニセ科学を見抜き批判する能力を身につける。

Obtain basic skill for presentation and discussion in academic classes and also develop scientific literacy to distinguish true discovery and criticize pseudoscience.

毎回扱うテーマを前週に伝えるので、レポーター担当は文献を調べて情報を集め、講義中に発表するプレゼンテーションを準備しておく。他受講生もオーディエンスとして各自予習し自分の考えをまとめておくこと。

科学の発見は、時として私たちの常識をひっくり返し、人類の知覚の地平を拡大してくれます。その大発見の影にはもっと数多くの失敗の積み重ねがありました。本当の大発見と、間違いとわかった大発見、そして意図的な捏造とは一体何が違うのか、それはどのように見分けがつくべきなのか、一緒に調べ、考えていきましょう。それは、科学とは何か、という問いにもつながっていくでしょう。
