Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
本セミナーでは、日本語教育の分野で問題となる文法項目（表現）について分析・考察する。それを通じて、学生が以下の能力を身につけていることを目標とする。

（１）日本語文法の基礎知識を身につけることができる。
（２）日本語文法教育の方法論について理解し、説明できる。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
The aim of this seminar is to analyze Japanese grammar and expressions by taking up issues which seem to be problematic in Japanese language education. Through this seminar, the students will be able to:

(1) acquire fundamental knowledge of Japanese grammar.
(2) learn and explain Japanese grammar teaching method.

毎回、簡単な課題を取り上げ、みんなで考える時間を設ける。そのため、授業資料や参考書の該当箇所を予習して授業に出席すること。

Message from the Instructor
円滑なコミュニケーションをとるための心構え・条件として、様々な要素が考えられますが、日本語（母語）を客観的な立場から観察できる力を身につけることも非常に重要であると考えられます。
　次の例を見てみましょう。

　（1）冷めない（〇うちに／*あいだに）召し上がってください。
　（2）10時から11時の（*うちに／〇あいだに）来てください。

例（1）では「うちに」が、例（2）では「あいだに」が選択されます。外国人に両者の違いについて質問されると答えられず困ってしまう、つまり答えは分かるが、どうしてそうなのかという理由の説明がすぐにはできない人が、意外と多いではないでしょうか。

このような違いに気づくためには、日本語という母語を突き放して捉えてみる、つまり客観的な立場から日本語を観察するということが非常に有効であると考えられます。こういったことを念頭におきながら、普段の日本語に接することが大事であると考えられます。
