Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 本セミナーでは、子どもの貧困をめぐる様々な問題状況を取り扱う（虐待問題、教育費負担問題、学力・進学格差問題、健康格差問題、その他）。現代日本における子どもの貧困問題の深刻な状況を、国際比較等を通じ客観的に把握することを通じ、社会科学におけるデータ等の取扱い方法を身につける。日本社会の特質と構造について説明できるようなること、および、「尊厳」「権利」等の基礎的概念について理解することが本セミナーの目標である。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | In this seminar, we will deal with various issues surrounding child poverty (abuse, educational private expenditure, disparity in academic achievement and advancement, disparity in health, etc.). By objectively grasping the serious situation of child poverty in modern Japan through international comparisons, students will learn how to handle data in social science. The goals of this seminar are to be able to explain the characteristics and structure of Japanese society, and to understand basic concepts such as "dignity" and "rights". |
