Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
自ら脳神経疾患に関するテーマや疑問点を見つけ、その解決のため脳や神経の基礎を身につける。自ら文献検索を行い情報収集し、脳神経系の基礎的知識を養い、脳神経疾患の基礎を理解する。また、配布する英語の資料を全員で読みながら医学英語に慣れると同時に、英語論文の読解力を身につける。パワーポイント等を用いた発表資料の作成や発表方法、討論の能力を身につける。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
In this program students learn basic structures, function and diseases of the nervous systems (CNS and PNS) by reading English text on basic neuroscience. In addition, students select one subject among neural diseases, self-learn deeply on the subject, present the selected subject, and discuss with other students. In this process students gain basic literacy on neuroscience as well as the skills of presentation and discussion.
