Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | がんは遺伝子異常を原因とする疾患であり、有効な治療効果を得るためには、患者に応じた治療法の選択が必要となる。本セミナーでは、最先端の論文を中心に読み込むことにより、分子生物学的視点からみた“がんの本態”の理解、さらに次世代のがん治療法を学び、腫瘍学の基礎知識を身につける。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | Medical students need to understand how genetic and epigenetic alterations cause cancers and which type of treatment will be most effective for each individual. The lectures provide research articles, which confer knowledge to the students on molecular bases of cancers and also on diagnostic and therapeutic options for cancers. |

Message from the Instructor | | This course provides fundamental knowledge of cancer biology: understanding of molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis and recent molecular cancer therapeutics and diagnostics. Further, epigenetic dysregulation in cancer cells are is also focused on.
皆さんは医学部に入学し、これから６年をかけて医師・医学研究者としての膨大な知識を得ていくことになります。将来どのような専門科目に進むのであっても、自主的に学ぶ習慣を身につけることは大切です。しかしもっと大切なことは、医学のみならず様々な領域に興味の対象を広げ、新しい知識やものの見方・考え方を自分自身の中に積極的に取り込んでいくことです。それらを自分の中の既存の知識とつなげて、多面的な尺度から医学・生物学を俯瞰できる能力を養っていただきたいと思います。本授業期間内では、これまで優れた研究者により発表されてきた“おっ”と驚く研究内容を堪能していただきたいと思います。 |
