Goals of the Course [JPN]
本授業科目は，初年次生を大学教育へ導入し，自立した学習能力を身につけるとともに，文・理に共通した基礎的学力や技能を養うために，多面的な知的トレーニングによって，コモンベーシックとしての読み，書き，話す能力のかん養を図るとともに，真理探究の方法と面白さを学ぶことが目的である。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups.We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university.Through this,our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability.A wide various of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
研究活動を通じて、生命現象に対する洞察力を養う。
(1) 生きた動物脳内を2光子顕微鏡で可視化し、高次脳機能の活動や病気における変化などを、新しい生命現象を発見する。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
Develop insight into life phenomena through research activities.
(1) Visualize the inside of a living animal brain with a two-photon microscope to discover new biological phenomena, such as the activity of higher brain functions and changes in diseases.

注意事項
Notice for Students
本セミナーは鶴舞地区（医学部医学科）で実地する。医系研究棟2号館 分子細胞学研究室での研究活動参加のほか、一部は会議室等での論文講読などを行う。
授業に関連して出題する小課題やレポート試験は、授業時間外で取り組むこと。
成績評価の対象ではないが、規定時間外の研究室活動への自由参加も大いに歓迎する。
