授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course [JPN]
我々の住む地球がどのような特徴をもった惑星であるのかを理解するとともに，地球惑星科学を概観することを目的とします。このため，地球の形状と内部構造，地球を構成する物質の種類や性質，岩石圏で発生する地震，水圏・気圏も含めた地球の表層環境などについて解説し，地球に対する理解を深めます。また地球惑星科学で用いられている代表的な研究方法なども紹介します。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
The goal of this course is to understand the characteristics of our planet earth and to provide an overview of earth and planetary science. To this end, the shape and internal structure of the earth, the materials that make up the earth, earthquakes occurred in the lithosphere, and the surface environment of the earth including the hydrosphere and the atmosphere will be explained to deepen the understanding of the earth. Research methods used in earth and planetary science will also be introduced.
