Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 数学は近代科学の言語および手段として不可欠のものとなっている。中でも，微分積分学と線形代数学は最も基本的なものである。本科目では，そのうちの微分積分学を取り上げ，一変数関数を通して理論の概要の理解し，また数理科学的な思考力や洞察力を培うことを目的とする。高校数学との接続を考慮し，直感的な見方の紹介や，統計学等への応用の言及などにより理解を容易にする。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Mathematics is an indispensable language and a method in modern science. Among them, analysis and linear algebra are most fundamental subjects. The goal of this course is to understand the basics of analysis of functions in one variable and also to develop mathematical thinking and insight. |
