Goals of the Course [JPN]
生命科学のトピックスを取り上げ、重要な発見がどのように行われたか、また概念がどのように形成されたかについて、できるだけ実験事実に基づいた平易かつ論理的な解説を行う。トピックスは主に分子細胞生物学および神経科学の分野でノーベル賞の対象となった発見を中心に取り上げる。

This class aims to provide the fundamental concepts in the fields of life science with explanation on experiments. The participants will understand why several concepts in molecular biology and neuroscience receive Novel Award.

Message from the Instructor
The purpose of this series of lectures is to let undergraduates who have learnt biology in their high school feel how studies of modern and cutting-edge biology proceed currently (in Japanese). This is an introductory class for those who wish to major in biology.

高校で生物を履修した学生向けの講義（日本語）。で、生命理学科の教員３名で担当します（上川内、田中、木下（俊））。理学部生命理学科で行われている研究も紹介します。研究室見学も実施する予定で、最先端の生物学研究が実感できるでしょう。興味がある方は是非参加してください。
