Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 現代科学技術における重要な基礎分野の一つである古典力学の基礎を，慣性系における1個の質点の運動を例にとって講義します。力，質量，運動量，仕事，エネルギー，保存則，運動方程式，次元解析などの物理的概念に加え，座標系，ベクトル，ベクトル演算などの数学的概念を説明します。このことによって，力学の基本概念と手法について理解を深めるとともに，理工系分野を学ぶための基礎学力を養うことを目指します。この科目は，力学を直接必要としない分野の学生にとっても自然科学を学ぶための重要な基礎となります。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course introduces the fundamentals of classical mechanics, one of the important fundamental fields in modern science and technology, using the motion of a single point mass in an inertial frame as an example. In addition to physical concepts such as force, mass, momentum, work, energy, conservation laws, equations of motion, and dimensional analysis, mathematical concepts such as coordinate systems, vectors, and vector operations are explained. By doing so, the course aims to deepen students' understanding of the basic concepts and methods of mechanics and to develop basic academic skills for studying science and engineering fields. This course provides an important foundation for the study of natural science even for students in fields that do not directly require mechanics. |
