Goals of the Course [JPN]

本授業科目は，自然科学系分野の学問体系を認識するとともに，自主的判断能力を培うことが目的である。
物理は現代社会を支える基礎科学の一つである。この授業では量子論の成立より前に確立された学問としての傑作：電磁気を講義する。電磁気現象はスマホはじめ身近なところでお目にかかる現象であり、現在社会を理解し発展させてゆく上で不可欠な素養といえよう。授業は、直感的かつ定量的な理解を目指し、学部進学後、各自の専門の学習・研究に道具として電磁気を使用してゆく際に羅針盤となる様な素養の獲得を目指してもらう。

Goals of the Course [ENG]

Physics is one of the fundamental sciences indispensable for modern society. In this class, a masterpiece as a discipline established before the establishment of quantum theory: electromagnetism will be treated. Electromagnetic phenomena are the phenomena that can be seen in smartphones and other familiar places, and can be said to be indispensable in understanding and developing society at present. In class, demonstration experiments are often used to achieve intuitive and quantitative understanding. Students will be requested to acquire knowledge that will be used as a compass when using electromagnetism as a tool for their own specialized learning and research.

授業は、直感的かつ定量的な理解を目指し、学部進学後、各自の専門の学習・研究に道具として電磁気を使用してゆく際に羅針盤となる様な素養の獲得を目指してもらう。

基本毎回配布するレジュメを使用して授業を進めるので、特に教科書は指定しない。

実験を中心とした授業で、高圧電源、強磁場を使用し、演示実験の際に学生諸君の協力をお願いすることもあるので、ペースメーカーなどの医療機器を常用している者や電磁波過敏症ほか身体的な不安を持つ者は事前に担当教員に相談してください。
