授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course [JPN]
本授業科目は，我々の住む地球がどのような変遷を経て現在に至ったのかを理解することが目的である。まず地表面の変化メカニズムや全地球スケールでのプレート運動など，現在の地球で起こっている様々な現象を把握し，さらに地球史における地殻，海洋および大気の発達プロセス，そしてこれらと密接な関係をもつ生物界の変遷について理解する。

The aim of this course is to help students to acquire an understanding of the fundamental principles of earth science, focusing on the developmental process of the solid earth, plate tectonics, atmosphere, oceans, and biosphere.
