Goals of the Course [JPN]
数学は近代科学の言語および手法として不可欠のものとなっています。中でも最も基本となっているのは微分積分学と線形代数学です。本科目は線形代数学の基礎理解をその目的とします。特に座標幾何学，行列の取り扱い，連立一次方程式の解法などに習熟します。ここで幾何学（空間）的イメージと結び付いた理解，代数や微分方程式論・統計などとの関連などを重視します。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
Mathematics has become an integral part of the language and method of modern science. The most basic of these are calculus and linear algebra.The goal of this course is to understand the basics of linear algebra. In particular, you will be familiar with coordinate geometry, handling matrices, and solving simultaneous linear equations. Here, we emphasize understanding associated with geometric and spatial images and the relationship with algebraic and differential equation theories and statistics.

線形代数学の基礎を理解する。特に，座標幾何学，行列の取り扱い，連立一次方程式の解法などに習熟する。また，幾何学（空間）的イメージをベクトルと結び付け感覚的な理解が出来るようになることを重視する。

The objectives of students are to understand the basics of linear algebra and, in particular, to learn the geometry of planes and spaces, matrix manipulations, how to solve linear equations, etc.
