授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG]
In this course, students will build on the skills learned in Academic Japanese (Reading & Writing) III and acquire fundamental skills to read academic dissertations and articles, as well as write reports and dissertations related to their research. At the end of the semester, students will write a longer report on a topic of interest. This course is recommended for students who have completed Academic Japanese (Reading & Writing) III.
授業の達成目標 【英語】
Objectives of the Course [ENG]
At the end of the lecture, students are to
(i) be able to write a brief summary of articles.
(ii) understand how to write a good paragraph.
(iii) to be able to write a logical short essay of around 1,200 characters.
