大気水圏とは地球表層の大気や水が存在する領域、すなわち大気圏、海洋、陸面を指します。その科学とは、この広範な領域の構造やその変動、そこで生起する様々な現象の理解を目指すもので、地球環境科学やさらには自然災害科学の一部も含みます。本講義ではこれらのうちの特に大気圏で起こる現象や具体的問題に焦点を当てて、それらの構造やそのなかで起こる多様な現象の構造や水循環を理解することを目的とします。

Atmospheric-hydrosphere refers to the region of the Earth's surface where the atmosphere and water exist: the atmosphere, oceans, and land surface. The science of the atmosphere and hydrosphere is aimed at understanding the structure of this broad region, its changes, and the various phenomena that occur there, including Earth and environmental sciences, and some aspects of natural disaster science. In this lecture, we will focus on phenomena and specific problems in these areas, and aim to understand the structure of the atmosphere, the structure of the various phenomena that occur in the atmosphere, and the water cycle.

地球大気は、大気の運動と雲・降水の形成で特徴付けられ、これらに伴う水循環が地球の豊かな環境を形成する要因となっています。一方で豪雨や台風などは大きな災害をもたらすなど人間社会に大きな影響を与えます。また、現在進みつつある地球温暖化は大気中の現象そのものを変えつつあります。これらを理解することによって学生の皆さんが、地球の大気水圏環境の理解を深めるとともに、その変動に対応する基礎的な力を付けることを目標とします。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
The Earth's atmosphere is characterized by the atmospheric motion and the formation of clouds and precipitation. The water cycle is an essential factor in the formation of the Earth's rich environment. On the other hand, torrential rainfalls and typhoons have a great impact on human society by causing major disasters. In addition, the present global warming changes the phenomena in the atmosphere. The goal of this course is to help students deepen their understanding of the Earth's atmospheric and hydrospheric environment by understanding these phenomena, and to provide them with the basic skills to cope with these changes.
