Goals of the Course [JPN] | | 本授業科目は，専門分野を問わず，豊かな人間性を育み，総合的判断能力をかん養することが目的である。
【授業のねらい】この授業では、主として日本の仏像についてお話しします。仏像は現在、ジャパニーズカルチャーの一角を担うコンテンツとして広く人気を博しています。また和の心に癒しを求める人々をも強く引き付けています。このような現代日本のカルチャーの状況をうけて、この授業では、仏像の初歩的な見方をお話し日本文化への理解を養成します。また日本について国際的に発信する素地を築きます。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | Courses that help students of all specialties to develop well-balanced characters and comprehensive decision-making skills.
In this class, we will mainly talk about Japanese Buddhist statues. Buddhist statues are now widely popular as a part of Japanese culture. They are also attracting people who seek healing in the Japanese spirit. In this class, we will discuss how to look at Buddhist statues from a rudimentary point of view and cultivate an understanding of Japanese culture in light of the current state of Japanese culture. It will also provide students with a foundation for communicating about Japan internationally. |

Message from the Instructor | | 対面授業の場合には、図版をスクリーンに映写してお見せしますが、立体物である仏像は実物を見るに越したことはありません。日々の時間の中で、神社仏閣・美術館博物館等に積極的に足を運ぶことをおすすめします。遠隔授業の場合も、社会的状況が許せようであれば、少しでも作品を実地に見ることをおすすめします。
It is recommended that you actively visit shrines, temples, museums, etc. in your daily time and see Buddhist sculptures in your own eyes. |
