Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | この授業は、大学へ入学した新入生の皆さんに対して、文学部でどのような研究が行われているのか、理解してもらうことを目標としています。文学部には哲学、歴史文化、文学、言語など、多様な専門領域があります。こうした多様な専門にまず触れてもらい、2年次において皆さんがどの専門を選んで、勉学を進めていくのか、参考としてもらうために用意された授業です。皆さんはこれから文学部で自らが関心ある専門を学んでいくことになりますが、その際にもその専門と関連する、あるいは隣接する学問に感心をもち続けることは、たいへん大切なことです。まず文学部のいろいろな学問に触れてみる、関心を持ってみる、そうした好奇心を満たせるような、授業を提供したいと考えています。 |

Goals of the Course | | | The aim of this class is to help new students entering university to understand what researches are being conducted at the Faculty of Letters. The Faculty of Letters has diverse specialties, such as philosophy, history and culture, literature and language. This is a class designed to get first-hand information on these various specialties and to help you choose which specialty to pursue your study from the second year. You will be studying a specialty that you are interested in at the Faculty of Letters, but it is very important that you continue to be interested in related or adjacent academic fields. First of all, we would like to offer a class that allows you to come into contact with various academic fields of the Faculty of Letters, to have interests in them and to satisfy your curiosity. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | この授業は、文学部の歴史文化学繋を構成する、日本史学、東洋史学、西洋史学、考古学、美学美術史学、文化人類学に属している教員が、それぞれ研究している学問について、1時間ずつ話をしてもらいます。特に統一したテーマを設けているわけではありませんが、この学繋の各学問は、いずれも史料（資料）を探し、それを読み解き、それが持っている意味を解き明かすことを基本として成りたっていますので、それぞれの専門分野における史・資料のあり方やそれをどう読み解くのか、あるいはそこに秘められている面白さといったことが語られるでしょう。
授業を担当する教員と具体的な授業の内容については、初回のガイダンスの時に説明します。
In this class, faculty members specializing in Japanese History, Oriental History, Western History, Archeology, Aesthetics and Art History, and Cultural Anthropology, who constitute the History and Cultural History Course of the Faculty of Letters, will talk about the academic subjects they are studying. Each discipline in this course consists of searching for historical and cultural materials, reading them, and understanding the meaning of them. Therefore, they will offer comments on the materials in each specialty field, how to read and interpret them, and how interesting they are. The teacher in charge of each class and its specific contents will be shown at the time of the first guidance. |
