授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
This course will be team-taught by JACS professors.
Readings for this term will focus on literature, film, and history. Students will read, compare, and contextualize different types of sources (e.g. primary and secondary) and learn a number of reading and writing skills.
Students will choose a research topic based on these sources, find additional sources, write a literature review, and develop a final paper proposal in the first 2/3 of class. In the final 1/3, we will work through drafts and presentations to present a polished final product.
The class will combine lectures and discussion.
